IGAIR
Interim group on advance information for customs and aviation security (IGAIR)
As outlined in the POC resolution, the mandated purpose of the IGAIR is to investigate potential requirements for advance information and the challenges to the postal sector posed by such requirements.
The IGAIR is also mandated to identify potential solutions to overcome those challenges, including developing a draft proposal for a postal model to meet these requirements, and to report on its activities to the POC following the 25th Congress, including findings and deliverables.
Questionnaire on legislative requirements, customs pre-advice and operational capabilities relating to aviation security
The questionnaire aims to take stock of the current legislative and operational situation across the UPU membership. The responses will enable the subgroups to make a worldwide inventory of the status of legislation and operations dealing with advance information.
