.post registration
The .post registry is currently accepting registrations from qualified organisations within the .post sponsored community. Prospective applicants for .post domains will have to belong to a pre-defined group from the postal community. The main ones are the UPU, its member countries, restricted unions and designated operators.
Other postal-sector members may also apply, providing they are authorized by the UPU to do so. These can be non-designated operators and communications entities supporting the delivery of postal services.
Direct marketing and hybrid mail vendors, logistics companies, payment providers and educational institutions may also be able to hop on the .post bandwagon in the future.
Application and Community ID
If you are a member of the UPU or its Restricted Unions, you can apply directly here.
For all other organisations, check the UPU website regularly for more details on when the next phase of registrations will be opened.
To register a .post domain, you need to submit a Community ID request here.
In order to verify your eligibility to register a domain name and to issue a .post Community ID, the UPU goes through a verification process, for which each registrant is charged an authentication fee of 10,000 Swiss francs per year. Members of .post Group do not pay this fee.
If you would like to join the .post Group, please contact us.
Upon receipt and verification of your request and supporting documents, we will send you an invoice. Once the payment has been processed, we will issue the Community ID and you can register your .post domain names.
Note that prior to your .post domain name registration, you must provide legal proof of ownership of the string being applied as mentioned in paragraph 3.3.1. of the .post Domain Management Policy.
