The Sustainable Development Project Group supports postal operators in their efforts to incorporate the economic dimension into their sustainable development activities.

Ethical purchasing

One activity of the SD Project Group consists of implementing an ethical purchasing policy.

Other projects range from the development of socially responsible financial products, such as micro-credit, to secure, efficient and affordable money transfer services for migrant workers and their families.

One concrete example is the project to give rural populations in Africa access to postal financial services in cooperation with the International Fund for Agricultural Development.
