Surveys in support of proposals for an integrated remuneration system
The 2018 Extraordinary Congress adopted the Integrated Remuneration Plan (IRP) through Congress resolution C 6/2018, which instructed the Postal Operations Council (POC) and the Council of Administration (CA) to develop proposals for an integrated remuneration system. The 2018.2 CA (S4) decided that work on the development of such proposals, in particular those concerning the remuneration of letter-post items containing goods (i.e. small packets), should be expedited.
Direct UPU stakeholders (governments, regulators and designated operators) have the opportunity to contribute to the development of such proposals and are strongly encouraged to provide the required information by means of various surveys on the UPU remuneration systems.
The completed questionnaires should be returned to the International Bureau by 21 December 2018. The surveys can be returned to the address below; however, respondents are encouraged to send an electronic copy of the completed survey by e-mail to paul.schoorl(at)upu.int.
