Sustainability

The Postal Revenue Protection Working Group helps designated operators, mostly from developing countries, identify, select and implement cost-effective revenue protection technologies and solutions that reduce leakage of postage revenues, and therefore contribute to the long-term sustainability of the posts.

Review and prioritise

This is a working group where designated operators and private sector members of the CC review and prioritise current and future solutions responding to the different needs expressed by the posts, study the feasibility of “regional” solutions, assist posts from different geographies in the identification of external sources of funding to facilitate implementation of pilot tests.

Best practices

In collaboration with the Postal Security Group, in particular its International Revenue Protection working groups, and regional postal unions, it disseminates best practices regarding cost-effective revenue protection technologies and processes.
