	The Universal Postal Union is working in conjunction with a number of international organizations; the latter are presented briefly below, with direct links to their websites. European Committee for Standardization (CEN)  CEN's mission is to promote technical harmonization in Europe in conjunction with standardisation bodies and its partners in Europe in areas of industry and services. International Air Transport Association (IATA)  International air transport is one of the most dynamic and fast-changing industries in the world. It needs a responsive, forward-looking and universal trade association, operating to the highest professional standards. IATA is that association. Our Mission and Goals summarise what IATA is and what it does. International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL)  INTERPOL aims to ensure and promote the widest possible mutual assistance between all criminal police authorities, within the limits of the laws existing in the different countries and in the spirit of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and to establish and develop all institutions likely to contribute effectively to the prevention and suppression of ordinary law crimes. International Organization for standardization (ISO)  The mission of ISO is to promote the development of standardization and related activities in the world with a view to facilitating the international exchange of goods and services, and to developing cooperation in the spheres of intellectual, scientific, technological and economic activity. Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)  OECD is an international organisation helping governments tackle the economic, social and governance challenges of a globalised economy. World Customs Organization (WCO)  The WCO aids the national economic wealth and social protection of its Members by promoting an honest, transparent and largely predictable Customs environment. This helps international trade, transport and travel to flourish but also provides the moral basis for effective action to be taken against illegal activity. World Savings Bank Institute (WSBI)  WSBI's role is to disseminate information, to organise training and exchanges of experience and to encourage savings banks to participate in development projects launched by international financial institutions. World Trade Organization (WTO)  The WTO deals with the rules of trade between nations, and aims at helping producers of goods and services, exporters, and importers to conduct their business.
