Thursday, 20 October 2022, 9:00 - 12:00
Berne/Online

The UPU, as the primary forum for cooperation between postal sector players, helps to ensure a truly universal network of up-to-date products and services. To attain this mandate, it is essential to nurture innovation within both the organization and the postal sector.

The Postal Innovation Forum is intended to become a world-class innovation event, catering to the various needs of UPU member countries and promoting the early adoption of next-generation postal products and services across the entire UPU postal community. Its aim is to bridge critical gaps between the most and least experienced postal institutions, in terms of innovation development and management, by promoting peer-based learning and the development of best practices.

Moreover, the forum will help members to connect with the sector’s thinkers and solution providers, and will showcase technologies to foster innovation adoption. It will also inform the UPU’s innovation priority focus areas and serve as a catalyst for the development of partnerships with stakeholders from innovation ecosystems.

This first edition of the Forum will focus on the challenges and opportunities presented by postal innovation, with a view to ensuring a sustainable next-generation postal sector.
