The Universal Postal Union’s (UPU) Information Sharing and Analysis Centre – known as POST-ISAC – is a first-of-its-kind global cyber threat-sharing and collaboration hub dedicated to the postal and logistics sector.
The POST-ISAC platform will serve as a centralized hub for the timely and secure sharing of critical cybersecurity information. National postal operators, e-commerce logistics providers, technical partners and other wider postal sector stakeholders will be invited to join.“No single nation or operator can defend against these threats in isolation. POST-ISAC is the missing link. By enabling the seamless, secure exchange of real-time data on threats and vulnerabilities, it transforms our separate networks into an integrated, collective defence system,” said UPU Director General Masahiko Metoki.
POST-ISAC will help enhance users’ awareness of emerging threats, strengthen their security posture, improve their resilience planning and collaborate with industry leaders to address shared cybersecurity challenges. It is hosted on the UPU’s secure top-level domain, .POST, ensuring the integrity of sensitive information exchanged by partners.
Leading partners
POST-ISAC is backed by long-standing financial support from the governments of Italy, the United States and Japan. Italy has played a leading role as Chair of both the .POST Group and its successor, UPU Cyber Resilience Expert Team, which are responsible for bringing the platform to fruition as part of the UPU’s 2026-2029 Strategy.
Two leading international cybersecurity organizations are already connected to the platform as part of the pilot. The Global Cyber Alliance’s infrastructure-clearing toolkits will actively enrich POST-ISAC’s threat intelligence feeds. The Anti-Phishing Working Group-led STOP. THINK. CONNECT. Campaign will provide its world-class cybersecurity frameworks to support the education of both postal supply chain employees and consumers.
Join the pilot
The platform is entering an immediate one-year pilot phase to test the platform toolkit and measure real-world impact before initiating full global deployment.
The UPU calls on all national designated operators, international e-commerce logistics entities and technical partners to reach out to complete their onboarding procedures to join POST-ISAC. Stakeholders are invited to contact the team below to complete onboarding and start contributing to a safer international postal network.
