The UPU is establishing the first Climate Facility, in line with UPU Congress Resolution C7/2023 (Riyadh). One of the main focuses of the UPU Climate Facility will be to support postal operators and governments in accessing climate finance, including through the development of bankable and investment-ready sustainable postal infrastructure projects.

The purpose of the workshop is to share best practices among governments and designated operators on accessing climate finance (grants, loans, blended finance, green bonds), as well as to discuss the main opportunities and challenges.
